TOM DECKER DOMINATES THUNDER VALLEY AGAIN

Tom Decker continued his super season at Thunder Valley  as he raced off to the Late model victory.  It was  Decker’s third win of the season at the track and came in dominating style over the field.  In other action,  Greg Cornell survived a late race challenge to win his first Semi Late event of the season, Charlie Walter took the Pure Stock event and Ray Edwards took the thrilling 4 Cylinder finale. RHODES RIDES AGAIN AT THUNDER VALLEY

Chris Rhodes continued his late season turnaround  as he scored the  Late Model win at Thunder Valley Saturday night.  It was Rhodes  second win of the 2011 season, both coming in July.  In other action, Tom Warren won his second Semi Late event of the season before a pair of  drivers scored their first  career wins at the track.   Jim Sacco took his first ever Pure Stock event and Dan Jackson won his first ever 4 Cylinder race   Randy Doty won the annual visit of the All American Outlaws at the track. FETTERS SCORES AGAIN AT THUNDER VALLEY

  Greg Fetters, on a mid season tear,  scored  Late Model win at Thunder Valley Saturday night.  The win was his second triumph in July in his breakout season at the track.  In other action,  Jason Vangilder scored a thrilling victory in the Semi Late event, Mike Ott dominated the Pure Stock race and Casey Fleegle snared the 4 cylinder finale. After a season  frustration, Chris Rhodes scored big by winning the Late Model feature at Thunder Valley Saturday night.  It was Rhodes’ third career win at the track and was came exactly one year since his last one.  In other action, Dave Lee scored an improbable  last lap Semi Late win,  Bill Replogle took the Pure Stock event and  crowd favorite Louie Orris won the 4 Cylinder finale. FETTERS SCORES WIN AT THUNDER VALLEY

Greg Fetters scored the dramatic come from behind victory in Late Model action Saturday night at Thunder Valley,  It was Fetters’ second career victory at the track but first of the 2011 seaon.  In other Action, Jim Saylor inched closer to the all time Semi Late win lead with his 29th  career win, before Ryan Beckett scored his first ever Thunder win in the Pure Stocks.   Martin Vinosky kept the Acura streak alive but taking the 4 cylinder finale. DECKER FIRST 2011 REPEATER AT THUNDER VALLEY

Tom Decker became the first 2011 Late Model repeat winner at Thunder Valley after taking the  win at the track Saturday night.   It was Decker’s third career win at the track.  In other action,  Jim Saylor and  Mike Duck  took the special 30 lap Semi Late and Pure Stock events, and Ray Edwards won the 4 cylinder event. CHUCK CLISE WINS WILL MEMORIAL AT THUNDER VALLEY

Chuck Clise scored his first Thunder Valley victory of the season as he snared the annual WW Will Memorial event at the track Saturday night,  The 35 lapper, held in honor of the track builder and long time promoter, was the first win for Clise in almost two seasons and  his career fourth.   In other action,  Ray Sheetz survived a furious onslaught from  two competitors to grab the Semi Late win, Bill Replogle came from deep in the field for the Pure Stock win, and Martin Vinosky ended the night in 4 Cylinde victory lane. DECKER BECOMES NEW THUNDER VALLEY WINNER

Tom Decker  Jr drove 25 perfect laps to score the Late Model win at Thunder Valley Saturday night.   It was Decker’s second career victory at the track with the other one having come in 2009.  In other action,  Leading active class winners Jim Sayler and Tom Warren took wins in the Semi Late and Pure Stock action events.  Then the oldest driver in the pit area, Lugnut Lou Orris thrilled the crowd by scoring his first ever 4 Cylinder win. KYLE MERKLE STUNS THUNDER VALLEY FIELD

Kyle Merkle in only his second ever visit to the track, made it to Thunder Valley victory lane Saturday night. The event was the 35 lap  Steel Block Bandit portion of the annual Windmill 100 celebration  at the track..   In other action, extra distance in every division affected the outcomes as Tom Warren rallied late to take the Semi Late 25 lapper, Bill Replogle returned for another Pure Stock win and Kevin Beers won his first ever 4 Cylinder event in those 20 lappers. JARED HAWKINS SWEEPS SHAWN MCGARVEY SHOWDOWN

Jared Hawkins became the second first time winner this season  at Thunder Valley as he blasted to the  win in the Shawn McGarvey Shootout Saturday night.  The 38 lap event sanctioned by the UFO was run in honor of the former popular track champion and Hawkins became the 46th different Late Model winner at the track.  In other action, Jeff Benson snatched the Semi Late event, Willy Ling won his first ever Pure Stock event and Casey Fleegle took the 4 cylinder nightcap.
