SPECTATORS: $12 CHILDREN 10 and under: FREE PITS: $24
SPECIAL EVENT ADMISSION WILL BE ON THIS WEBSITE ON THE WEEK PRIOR TO THE EVENT

SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWS:

Consist of a full program (warm-ups, qualifying, feature) for the LATE MODELS, SEMI LATES, PURE STOCKS and FOUR CYLINDERS. Almost every event has something extra scheduled as well.

FACILITIES:

Thunder Valley is located in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of western Pennsylvania. The facility is located in a picturesque valley in Somerset County. The seating area is divided up into grandstand seating, lawn chair seating and tailgate parking areas. The speedways tailgate parking and large turn four pavilion can be reserved by the event or for the season, please contact the office for more information.

SPECTATORS:

Alcohol is permitted to be brought into the speedway. Alcohol is not permitted in the main grandstand family section. All those in attendance are expected to act in an appropriate manner. The speedway reserves the right to remove anybody acting inappropriate

PITS:

The pit area is located outside of the track, allowing spectators an unimpeded view of the entire racing surface. NO alcohol is permitted in the pit area. Minors under the age of 16 MUST fill out a minor release and be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

PARKING:

The speedway has acres of free parking available outside of turns three and four (accessed by the lower gate. Parking in the pit or tailgate area is $2. Handicap parking is available immediately behind the main grandstand.

ENTRY:

Spectators should enter using the Shade Church Road entrance. This leads to the lower entry gate and parking lot. Those headed to the pit or tailgate area should use the top gate, PA 160 entrance.

CAMPING:

Camping is free on the grounds. No hookups are available, and requests to camp must be made in advance.

RAIN CHECK POLICY:

Events will be considered complete at the conclusion of qualifying (usually the National Anthem), after that point rain checks are void. Any cancelled features will be made up at a later date at the tracks discretion. If event is cancelled prior to being considered complete, rain checks can be redeemed for face value at a future event. No rain checks will be redeemable for cash. Valid rain checks may be used for any remaining event during the same season. At events with addition admission, the difference must be paid.

SEASON PASS POLICY:

Season passes are valid for any event during the year. They may NOT be resold, and are not redeemable for cash. The pass is only valid when used by the authorized barer, passes are not permitted to be resold or swapped. The speedway reserves the right to revoke the pass at any time if the barer violates speedway policy.

PRESS CREDENTIALS POLICY:

Only authorized press with pre-approval by the speedway will be granted free admission. No credentials will be issued without a mailed or faxed request. Requests for credentials MUST be made at least 48 hours prior to the event. No credentials requests will be accepted on raceday. Publications receiving press credentials MUST provide the speedway with a copy of their coverage. The speedway reserves the right to refuse credentials for ANY reason.

Over the last six seasons, the staff and I here at Thunder Valley have striven to produce a show which is efficiently run, fair to the competitors, and entertaining to you, the fans.

Our philosophy is to provide a racing program that is fun, that is enjoyable to the entire family, that is competitive, that is thrilling and is over at a reasonable hour. We strive to provide a exceptional show for our fans each and every week.

For our competitors we present the wide, smooth, and racy track. We offer the areas premier purse, as well as a slate of extra distance, and extra money shows- that are designed specifically to benefit the local racer, ensuring that our competitors can put on a thrilling show for our fans.
